The Big USA Tasting, September 19
Secret Cellar, Forest Row
16/26 places available

We start the autumn series getting to grips with the delicious wines of California and Oregon. Californian growers have been focusing more on identifying the optimum sites for viticulture and continue to produce ripe but nowadays more elegant styles of wine.  California is also one of the world’s pioneers of sustainable viticulture so we will discuss that topic too. The wines of Oregon will give us a chance to explore some smaller producers growing vines and making wine in a cooler, wetter climate, which will provide some interesting contrast.
