What an appropriate day to celebrate the wines of the USA!  During this American tasting we will get to grips with the different areas and wines of California and the Pacific Northwest. As is the case with Australia, Californian producers have spent a lot of time identifying the ideal sites for viticulture and continue to produce ripe but nowadays more elegant styles of wine.  California is also one of the world’s pioneers of sustainable viticulture so we will talk about that topic too. These wines are made by very passionate growers and winemakers and should provide us with some really vinous delights!  Includes 8-10 wines with food pairings.
