Introduction to Wine

This tasting was run for a small family gathering to celebrate a special birthday.  The family chose to provide their own foods, with some guidance from me about what worked best with the wines.  I focused on showing wines made using different techniques and from more unusual grape varieties or countries. This gave us the right balance of wines to cover a real variety of styles and thus give a good introduction to wine.*
